The Bryant Hornets baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Jonesboro Hurricane to 5 in the Hornets league win on Tuesday.
The Hornets now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Conway for a 6A Central test on Thursday, April 17. Bryant will clash with a Wampus Cats team coming off a 20-1 league win over Central (Little Rock, AR). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 15-1.
With the defeat, Jonesboro drops to 7-7 on the year. The Hurricane travel to Catholic (Little Rock, AR) to clash with the Rockets in a test on Wednesday, April 16. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 5-8. Catholic won 12-2 in their recent league test against North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR)
