The Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND) baseball trounced the host Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen/Wing/Napoleon] Pirates (Steele, ND), 13-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Renville County West for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 21. Carrington will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Minneota (Minneota, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen/Wing/Napoleon] drops to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] (Cando, ND) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
