In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO), by a tally of 11-1.
Next up, the Trojans encounter the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO) in a Class 3 District 15 bout, on Thursday, April 17. Carrollton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Minutemen enter the bout with a 5-11 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Leeton (Leeton, MO).
The Spartans (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Holden (Holden, MO). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Holden overcame Clinton (Clinton, MO), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
