The Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN) baseball trounced the visiting North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), 7-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Eels now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host White River Valley for a Southwestern Indiana challenge on Thursday, April 17. Clay City will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, North Central drops to 0-4 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN) to clash with the Miners in a Southwestern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Miners go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Linton-Stockton won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Owen Valley (Spencer, IN)
