The Cleveland Central Wolves baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Gentry Rams to 0 in the Wolves league win on Tuesday.
The Wolves now own a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they host Canton for a 5A Region 2 test on Thursday, April 17. Cleveland Central will play a Tigers team coming off a 4-3 league win over Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 10-4.
With the defeat, Gentry drops to 1-13 on the year. The Rams host Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to play the Jaguars in a 5A Region 2 test on Friday, April 18. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 0-5. Holmes County Central lost 18-1 in their recent league test against Greenville (Greenville, MS)
