Kentucky High School Baseball - Clinton County loses to Russell County

April 15, 2025: Albany, KY 42602

In Tuesday's league bout, the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY), by a tally of 15-0.

Next up, the Lakers encounter the Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Briar Jumpers enter the bout with a 7-9 record after their 15-0 league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY).

The Bulldogs (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders enter the non-league bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, McCreary Central overcame Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY), 13-6, in a league bout.
