Ohio High School Baseball - Covington holds off Riverside

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Covington Buccs (Covington, OH) and the visiting Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH), saw Covington's baseball team gain a win over Riverside by a tally of 8-4.

The Buccs (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Miami East (Casstown, OH). The Vikings enter the Cross County battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Miami East held off Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH), 13-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Troy Christian Eagles (Troy, OH) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH).
