In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Larimore Polar Bears baseball team scored a close 8-6 win over the Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros.
The Polar Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Maple River by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN), 2-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the H-CV Burros face the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND) in a Class B - Region II battle, on Thursday, April 17. Hillsboro/Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 22-2 league win over Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND).
