New Jersey High School Baseball - Lacey Township holds off Pinelands Regional

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Lacey Township Lions baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Pinelands Regional Wildcats.
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ). The Bengals go into the Shore - B South game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Barnegat was overwhelmed by Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ), 3-0, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 17. Pinelands Regional will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 3-3 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ).
