The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) and the host Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI), saw Mineral Point's baseball team beat Southwestern by a margin of 6-4.
The Pointers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Chieftains enter the SWAL battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Riverdale by Fennimore (Fennimore, WI), 10-6, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) in a SWAL battle, on Thursday, April 17. Southwestern will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Redbirds enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 4-2 league loss to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).
