The Monroe City Panthers baseball team scored 27 runs and held the host Missouri Military Academy Fighting Colonels to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmyra for a Class 3 District 6 test on Wednesday, April 16. Monroe City will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Missouri Military Academy drops to 0-7 on the year. The Fighting colonels travel to Louisiana (Louisiana, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-7. Louisiana lost 15-6 in their recent non-league test against Wright City (Wright City, MO)
