North Carolina High School Baseball - North Stanly nips Mount Pleasant

The North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) baseball got by the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Comets now own a 18-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Thursday, April 17. North Stanly will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, Mount Pleasant drops to 12-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 11-8. South Rowan lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
