The Rio Hondo Bobcats baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Santa Rosa Warriors to 5 in the Bobcats league win on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now hold a 15-10 record. They take the field next when they host Progreso for a 3A Region IV District 32 test on Thursday, April 17. Rio Hondo will play a Red Ants team coming off a 17-3 league loss to Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Red Ants record now stands at 12-8.

With the defeat, Santa Rosa drops to 2-13 on the year. The Warriors travel to Progreso (Progreso, TX) to play the Red Ants in a 3A Region IV District 32 test on Tuesday, April 22.
