The Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) baseball trounced the visiting Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN), 11-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mahtomedi for a Classic Suburban challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Simley will clash with a Zephyrs team coming off a 11-1 league win over Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Zephyrs record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Tartan drops to 0-4 on the year. The Titans host Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN) to clash with the Pioneers in a Classic Suburban challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Hill-Murray won 9-6 in their recent league challenge against St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN)
