Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) and the host Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), witnessed Lanier's lacrosse squad hold off Gainesville by a count of 7-6.

The Longhorns (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Titans enter the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Northview nipped Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA), 16-5, in a non-league test.

Next, the Red Elephants battle the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. Gainesville will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Rams enter the test with a 3-13 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to George Walton Academy (Monroe, GA).
