The Abingdon Falcons soccer squad scored 12 points and held the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack to 0 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gate City for a Mountain 7 bout on Thursday, April 17. Abingdon will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Union (Big Stone Gap, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Ridgeview moves to 1-6 on the year. The Wolfpack host John Battle (Bristol, VA) to play the Trojans in a Mountain 7 bout on Tuesday, April 22. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-4. John Battle lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Graham (Bluefield, VA)
