Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) and the host New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), saw J.H. Rose's soccer squad hold off New Bern by a count of 2-1.

The Rampants (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Vikings enter the Big East 3A/4A battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, D.H. Conley tipped Havelock (Havelock, NC), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears battle the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, April 17. New Bern will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 1-11 record after their 1-0 non-league win over North Pitt (Bethel, NC).
