North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County loses to South Caldwell

The Ashe County Huskies baseball squad (West Jefferson, NC), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC)

With the triumph, South Caldwell moves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Spartans host Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to confront the Panthers in a contest on Thursday, April 17. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-7. Hibriten lost 4-2 in their recent league contest against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)

The Huskies now possess a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 17. Ashe County will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-6.
