California High School Softball - Ripon bounces Escalon

In Tuesday's league match, the host Ripon Indians softball team scored a nice 26-5 win over the Escalon Cougars.

The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their match against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA). The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Hilmar notched a victory over Hughson (Hughson, CA), 11-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) in a match, on Thursday, April 17. Escalon will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 9-4 record after their 9-9 non-league Turlock (Turlock, CA).
