Maryland High School Lacrosse - DeMatha overwhelms Bishop Ireton

In Tuesday's league contest, the host DeMatha Stags lacrosse squad scored a good 16-5 triumph over the Bishop Ireton Cardinals.
The Stags (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Panthers go into the Washington Catholic contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Paul VI knocked off Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 13-3, in a league contest.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 22. Bishop Ireton will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Dolphins go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 12-10 non-league win over Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA).
