Ohio High School Lacrosse - Johnstown-Monroe sneaks past Buckeye Valley

April 15, 2025: Johnstown, OH 43031

Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) and the visiting Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH), witnessed Johnstown-Monroe's lacrosse squad hold off Buckeye Valley by a count of 6-5.

The Johnnies (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Bexley (Columbus, OH). The Lions enter the Region 7 test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Bexley nipped Lincoln (Gahanna, OH), 9-5, in a non-league test.

Next, the Barons battle the Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) in a Region 7 test, on Thursday, April 17. Buckeye Valley will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 2-6 record after their 11-7 league loss to Granville (Granville, OH).
