The North Brunswick Scorpions edged the host West Brunswick Trojans lacrosse team by a tally of 6-5 in Tuesday's league match.
Next up, the Scorpions confront the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern match, on Thursday, April 17. North Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-12 record after their 18-0 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
The Trojans (2-11) will now prepare for their match against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the Mideastern match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Topsail got by New Bern (New Bern, NC), 15-4, in a non-league match.
