Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA) and the visiting River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), saw Capital's soccer squad knock off River Ridge by a count of 4-1.

The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Blazers enter the 3A South Sound battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Timberline tipped Lakes (Lakewood, WA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Hawks battle the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound battle, on Thursday, April 17. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 1-1 league Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA).
