The Mt. Zion Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Haralson County Rebels to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Fugees Academy for a 1A D-II Area 4 bout on Wednesday, April 16. Mt. Zion will play a Fugees squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA). The Fugees record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Haralson County moves to 0-14 on the year. The Rebels travel to Central (Carrollton, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Central won 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Temple (Temple, GA)
