In Tuesday's league test, the Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) softball squad got by the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), by a tally of 2-1.
Next, the Falcons meet the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) in a Mountain 7 test, on Friday, April 18. Abingdon will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 1-10 record after their 8-0 league loss to Central Wise (Norton, VA).
The Wolfpack (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Warriors go into the Mountain 7 test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Central Wise held off Gate City (Gate City, VA), 8-0, in a league test.
