In Tuesday's league challenge, the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) softball squad triumphed over the visiting Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR), by a count of 16-0.
Next, the Hornets meet the Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, April 18. Hackett will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 16-0 league win over Danville (Danville, AR).
The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Westside (Coal Hill, AR). The Rebels enter the 2A Region 4 challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, Westside was routed by Cedarville (Cedarville, AR), 25-12, in a non-league challenge.
