Ohio High School Softball - Adena can't get by Piketon

Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH), 9-8 in a league game.

With the triumph, Piketon improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Redstreaks travel to Huntington (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Huntsmen in a Scioto Valley game on Wednesday, April 16. The Huntsmen enter the game with a record of 5-6. Huntington won 20-10 in their recent league game against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH)

The Warriors now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Southeastern for a Scioto Valley game on Wednesday, April 16. Adena will play a Panthers squad coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
