Minnesota High School Softball - Austin sneaks past Albert Lea

The Austin Packers softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Albert Lea Tigers to 2 in the Packers league win on Tuesday.

The Packers now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Marshall for a Big 9 battle on Friday, April 18. Austin will confront a Rockets team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Mayo (Rochester, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Albert Lea moves to 0-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Faribault (Faribault, MN) to confront the Falcons in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Faribault lost 12-1 in their recent non-league battle against Winona (Winona, MN)
