The Hortonville Polar Bears triumphed over the host Appleton West Terrors softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Polar Bears meet the Fond du Lac Cardinals (Fond du Lac, WI) in a Fox Valley Association challenge, on Friday, April 18. Hortonville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 10-2 league win over Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI).

The Terrors (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI). The Galloping Ghosts enter the Fox Valley Association challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Kaukauna overcame Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac, WI), 5-0, in a league challenge.
