The Hancock Owls triumphed over the host Ashby Arrows softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Owls meet the Renville County West Jaguars (Renville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 12-1 league loss to Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN).
The Arrows (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Pelican Rapids was routed by Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN), 29-3, in a league challenge.
