The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Atkins Red Devils (Atkins, AR) and the host Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR), observed Atkins's softball team notch a victory over Two Rivers by a tally of 12-1.

The Red Devils (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Glen Rose (Malvern, AR). The Beavers go into the 3A Region 5 bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Glen Rose was routed by Harmony Grove (Benton, AR), 16-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Gators battle the Dover Pirates (Dover, AR) in a 3A Region 5 bout, on Thursday, April 17. Two Rivers will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 17-4 league loss to Mayflower (Mayflower, AR).
