Virginia High School Softball - Galax succumbs to Auburn

In Tuesday's league test, the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), by a tally of 20-2.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. Auburn will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Blue Demons go into the test with a 5-3 record after their 11-10 league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).

The Maroon Tide (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Radford was routed by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 13-0, in a league test.
