Ohio High School Softball - Bellaire knocked off by Martins Ferry

In Tuesday's league test, the Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH), by a count of 18-1.

Next, the Purple Riders meet the St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA test, on Thursday, April 17. Martins Ferry will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the test with a 1-10 record after their 12-3 league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV).

The Big Reds (6-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH). The Red Devils go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, St. Clairsville was routed by Madonna (Weirton, WV), 12-3, in a league test.
