Minnesota High School Softball - Minnewaska Area bounces Benson

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) and the visiting Benson (Benson, MN), observed Minnewaska Area's softball team notch a victory over Benson by a final score of 10-0.

The Lakers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, New London-Spicer gained a win over Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN), 15-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the battle the Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Benson will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Sting go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Minneota (Minneota, MN).
