Ohio High School Softball - Clearview succumbs to Black River

April 15, 2025: Sullivan, OH 44880

In Tuesday's league test, the Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clearview Clippers (Lorain, OH), by a tally of 15-1.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Oberlin The Phoenix (Oberlin, OH) in a Lorain County 8 test, on Wednesday, April 16. Black River will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The The Phoenix go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 18-1 league loss to Keystone (La Grange, OH).

The Clippers (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Wildcats go into the Lorain County 8 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Keystone prevailed over Oberlin (Oberlin, OH), 18-1, in a league test.
