Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX), 16-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Pieper improves its record to 8-13 on the year.

The Greyhounds now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they host New Braunfels for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Thursday, April 17. Boerne will play a Unicorns squad coming off a 11-10 league win over Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Unicorns record now stands at 19-7.
