West Virginia High School Softball - Buckhannon-Upshur tipped by Lewis County

The Lewis County Minutemen the visiting Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Minutemen meet the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Wednesday, April 16. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Polar Bears enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 11-5 league win over Liberty (Clarksburg, WV).

The Buccaneers (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Tigers enter the Big Ten challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Elkins by East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 18-4, in a league challenge.
