In Tuesday's league match, the host Buckingham Knights softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Nottoway Cougars.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Appomattox County was routed by Gretna (Gretna, VA), 5-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Nottoway will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 0-2 record after their 18-6 league loss to Greensville County (Emporia, VA).
