In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Burns Hilanders softball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Nyssa Bulldogs.

The Hilanders (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Pirates go into the 3A Special District 2 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Riverside by McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR), 13-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) in a 3A Special District 2 match, on Tuesday, April 22. Nyssa will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 4-2 record after their 13-0 league win over Enterprise/Joseph (Enterprise, OR).
