Alabama High School Softball - Chelsea can't get by Helena

April 15, 2025: Helena, AL 35080

The Helena Huskies edged the visiting Chelsea Hornets softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Huskies play the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a 6A Area 7 challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Helena will attempt to upgrade on its 22-12 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 14-17 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Pelham (Pelham, AL).

The Hornets (24-12) will now prepare for their match against Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Oakland was nipped by Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN), 3-2, in a non-league match.
