In Tuesday's league match, the host Rio Rancho Rams softball team scored a tight 20-13 win over the Cleveland Storm.
The Rams (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions come into the 5A District 1 match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, Farmington was routed by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 17-11, in a league match.
In their next game, the Storm confront the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 match, on Friday, April 18. Cleveland will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 17-4 record after their 4-2 league win over Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
