The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI) and the visiting Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, WI), observed Lake Mills's softball team get by Columbus by a tally of 5-1.

The L-Cats (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Palmyra-Eagle (Palmyra, WI). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Palmyra-Eagle tipped Parkview (Orfordville, WI), 15-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Waterloo Pirates (Waterloo, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Columbus will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI).
