Arkansas High School Softball - Cossatot River bounces Kirby

The Cossatot River Eagles softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Kirby Trojans to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar for a 3A Region 4 battle on Friday, April 18. Cossatot River will confront a Warriors team coming off a 12-0 league win over Paris (Paris, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Kirby moves to 2-10 on the season. The Trojans host Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR) to confront the Hornets in a 1A Region 7 battle on Monday, April 21. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 6-7. Mineral Springs won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Nevada (Rosston, AR)
