Illinois High School Softball - DuQuoin tipped by Nashville

Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL), 9-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, Nashville upgrades its record to 1-10 on the year. The Hornets travel to Chester (Chester, IL) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 16. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 11-3. Chester won 6-1 in their recent league game against Wesclin (Trenton, IL)

The Indians now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Benton for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi game on Friday, April 18. DuQuoin will play a Rangers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL). The Rangers record now stands at 9-7.
