East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 6-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, East Rowan improves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a South Piedmont 3A game on Thursday, April 17. The Knights enter the game with a record of 5-9. Lake Norman Charter lost 13-1 in their recent league game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

The Raiders now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a South Piedmont 3A game on Tuesday, April 22. South Rowan will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-12.
