The Johnson Crusaders softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen to 1 in the Crusaders league win on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Governor Livingston for a UCC - Watchung battle on Thursday, April 17. Johnson will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 3-2 league win over Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Elizabeth moves to 0-8 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Westfield (Westfield, NJ) to confront the Blue Devils in a UCC - Watchung battle on Thursday, April 17. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Westfield won 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ)
