New Jersey High School Softball - Middletown South bounces Freehold Boro

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Middletown South Eagles softball team scored a nice 16-5 win over the Freehold Boro Colonials.
The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Monmouth Regional notched a victory over Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ), 15-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Colonials battle the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Freehold Boro will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ).
