Texas High School Softball - Frisco gets by Independence

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), observed Frisco's softball team get by Independence by a tally of 2-1.

The Raccoons (9-13) will now prepare for their bout against Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region II District 11 bout with a 13-10 record. In their last bout, Memorial was nipped by Liberty (Frisco, TX), 3-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 bout, on Thursday, April 17. Independence will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Heritage (Frisco, TX).
