The Ganado Indians edged the host Shiner Comanches softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Indians play the Flatonia Bulldogs (Flatonia, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Ganado will attempt to upgrade on its 20-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 8-4 league loss to Weimar (Weimar, TX).
The Comanches (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 20-5 record. In their last challenge, Columbus edged Tidehaven (El Maton, TX), 10-3, in a league challenge.
