Next, the Patriots meet the Atascocita Eagles (Humble, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 test, on Thursday, April 17. Goose Creek Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 20-11 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 22-5 record after their 16-0 league win over Channelview (Channelview, TX).

The Wildcats (5-23) will now prepare for their test against Kingwood (Kingwood, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 23 test with a 23-4 record. In their last test, Kingwood was routed by Summer Creek (Houston, TX), 6-3, in a league test.
